St Bartholomew’s School

St Bartholomew’s School was built in 1849, a year before the church itself. The building was used as a school until it was handed over to the Government in 1883 and most pupils and staff transferred to Pyrmont Public in 1884. The building was then used as a Sunday school.

In 1921 the building was handed over to the Kindergarten Union as an outpost kindergarten.
